The Sheep Personality Type
This is the follower in the industry. This is what the majority of the industry falls under. The sheep do what the herd does and in marketing often times this means doing what doesn't work. They are the once that are barely scraping by in network marketing spending money with no money coming in. They are promoting their business full out, like everyone else is, like they were told it was done prospecting anyone they meet.
Sheep are out there every day looking for success giving it their all but very rarely achieve it. They believe in quick overnight success and often look for some push button solution because that is what all the other marketers believe. They struggle trying to market their business like everyone and eventually either give up out of frustration or are forced out of the business because they go broke.
The Cub Personality Type
This personality type is the apprentice of the industry. They realize that pitching their businesses doesn't work and they start learning and looking for alternate and more effective marketing strategies. Cubs look for successful internet marketers and learn their way of marketing. They invest in their marketing educations and tools rather then advertising. They know that by concentrating on their marketing and providing value to other they will start sponsoring rather then recruiting.
The cub is starting to see positive results of their investment and effort which fuels their determination to achieve even greater success.The cub doesn't expect instant success, they know that success is a result of their effort over a period of time.
They not only work on their marketing skills but they continuously are working on creating a success oriented mindset. Cubs also have mentors which they learn from and surround themselves with. The cub's mentors are the lions, the third personality type of network marketing.
Lion is the leader, the one who makes all the money in the industry. The lion is what everyone in internet marketing wants to be. Lions have the ability to make success look easy.
The lion already experienced success and they will have no problem creating overnight success in any network marketing business. They possess a strong positive success mindset, and never allow any negativity into their lives. They walk to the sound of their own drum and attract endless flocks of sheep and cubs. The lion attributes it's success to consistent daily action and to their persistence over time. The lion is extremely goal oriented, they are willing to work out any challenges that may occur to achieve those goals.
